Q: What are the technology requirements to enroll?
We don’t prescribe minimum requirements for hardware and software; however, a stable and strong internet connection is a must. Access to a webcam also required as well as Zoom.
A tablet or laptop/desktop works better than a smartphone for the applications and functionality during classes as well as homework submissions etc.
Q: What are the available time slots for the online tutorial facility?
Digitutors are always available. The structured classes, workshops and homework classes happen at set times which are communicated and published at the beginning of the year.
One on one lessons and ad hoc tutoring are agreed between the tutor and learner/parent and most of our tutors are available seven days a week and after hours.
Q: Which subjects can I enroll in / get tutoring in?
We offer services in most of the subjects in the Cambridge, IEB and Caps Curricula. Where there are special requirements, we will find a tutor for you if we do not have one available.
Q: How can I contact a tutor?
When you are registered with us, you will be given the details of the tutor and be in contact with them directly.
Q: Do I get the same tutor every time?
Within the courses the teachers remain with the students for the duration of the course. With regards to private tutoring sessions, we do promote staying with the same tutor, unless the learner or parent would prefer to change after discussions with Digitutors management.
Q: How do I know my child is performing
We will set up an online meeting with parents where there are reasons for concern. As part of the signup, parents can also request a monthly report from the tutor highlighting progress and any issues the tutor may have identified. You can also set a meeting with your tutor at any time if there is something you want to discuss with regards to their progress.
Our online learning management system also tracks students time studying, progress through courses as well as marks in quizzes and assignments.
Q: What are the fees?
Details of our fees can be seen on the website, however, we do a free assessment at the start of out interactions with any new student, and will propose a package which will yield the best results and may incorporate elements of different services.
Q: How do I contract with Digitutors?
A terms and conditions document will be sent to each prospective parent to sign prior to starting classes. All conditions of service and the relationship are set out in this document.
Students are also expected to sign a pledge committing to their role in their own success as well as the code of conduct we expect from every student.
